Zavior / Brand and IP practice / Competitive intelligence
Every vendor found across the sixteen categories that touch brand and IP governance, with what each one actually sells, the claim it makes, and where it stops. Built to double as the substantiation record behind any first or only claim Zavior publishes.
REGRegister of registered rights: trade marks, patents, designs, with renewalsUNRUnregistered IP: trade secrets, know-how, common law and unregistered marksCONContracts and licences, inbound or outboundCOMCommercial brand assets: domains, handles, storefronts, app and trade namesVALBrand strength, valuation or disclosure outputPUBPublic verification page for authorised assetsFilled black means the product does it as a core function. Outlined teal means partial or adjacent. Plain outline means no. Checked means the row rests on a source read during this research. To be verified means the vendor is known to operate in the category but was not confirmed here, so do not cite it in a published claim until someone checks it.
Part A because it wins more deals than every vendor in this register combined. Not a product, not a company, and the thing you are actually replacing. Overlap score 5, level with Anaqua and Inngot, and unlike either of them it is already installed at every prospect you will meet. Everything that follows is context. Write your comparison pages against this row first.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 89 | The spreadsheet, plus the agent's docketChecked | Whoever set it up, usually the founder or an office manager, and nobody has updated it since the last renewal. | Holds the trade mark numbers and, if you are lucky, the renewal dates. Everything else lives with a different person in a different system. | Free, until a deal stalls or a renewal lapses. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Partial, unowned, out of date. |
The agent sends renewal reminders, so the owner believes the job is covered. Nothing has gone wrong yet, and the cost of the gap only appears during a transaction. | It is trying to be your product and failing. | Cannot be exported as an IP schedule. Cannot show coverage gaps. Cannot prove authorised use for enforcement. Nobody can price what nobody can list, which is already the line on your brands page. | No claims. It is a file. |
The incumbent category. These products hold the register of record for large brand owners, and the buyer is an IP counsel or IP operations manager rather than the business owner. Anaqua is the row that defeats any broad world first claim.

No contracts, no commercial assets, no brands. | Site: global leader in AI-powered IP and R&D intelligence. Claims 75% IP productivity gains and 25% less R&D waste. 15,000 companies. Now inside Anaqua, so the brand owner positioning is being absorbed into an enterprise legal product. | Site: dedicated IP owners product line. Access to over 7,500 law firms. | 13 | Dennemeyer GroupChecked | Corporate IP departments and law firms, from single-jurisdiction holders up to global portfolios. Named customers include Red Bull and Accelleron. | DIAMS iQ manages the full lifecycle of registered rights with country law rules for hundreds of jurisdictions, automatic due date calculation, a document management system, an automatic data audit function on records, coverage maps by country, and dashboards. It is embedded in Dennemeyer's own service ecosystem, so renewals can be instructed, records synced and certificates imported without leaving the platform. Octimine adds AI patent search. Simple IP is a free, all-in-one product aimed at moving small portfolios off spreadsheets. | Enterprise for DIAMS. Simple IP is free. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Registered rights and renewals, plus a free tier. |
Move off your spreadsheet, freeThe one incumbent giving away a register. Simple IP is pitched exactly where your Essentials tier sits: a small portfolio currently held in a spreadsheet. Read it before you price anything, because a free product from a sixty-year-old incumbent is a harder objection than Anaqua's price tag. | Certificate import that auto-populates records, coverage maps by jurisdiction, and a free entry product for spreadsheet refugees. Three things you also do. | Registered rights only. No unregistered brands, no commercial assets, no licences relied on, no valuation or disclosure. The free tier is a funnel into renewals services, not a governance product. | Site: over 60 years in IP. DIAMS iQ with country law rules for hundreds of jurisdictions, automatic due date calculation and an automatic data audit. Simple IP presented as free and all-in-one for small portfolios. Octimine for AI patent search. Named customers Red Bull and Accelleron. |
| 14 | LexisNexis Intellectual Property SolutionsChecked | Corporate IP strategy functions and law firms in patent-intensive industries. | IP analytics and benchmarking built around PatentSight, extended by Cipher's supervised machine learning classifiers that map patents to custom and industry-standard technology taxonomies. | Enterprise. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Patent analytics and taxonomies. |
Strategic IP intelligenceAnalytics rather than governance. The interesting detail is the acquisition logic: LexisNexis bought a classification taxonomy to strengthen an analytics product. Taxonomy is the asset being consolidated across this whole category. | Custom taxonomies applied to an asset portfolio. | Patents. No brand, no register you maintain, no commercial assets, no ownership record. | Site: PatentSight as flagship IP analytics. Press: definitive agreement to acquire Aistemos announced 7 February 2023 to strengthen custom technology classification. |
| 18 | Aistemos (Cipher)Checked | Corporate IP and strategy teams in patent-intensive industries. | Patent classification using proprietary machine learning that maps patents to custom and industry-standard taxonomies, now folded into LexisNexis PatentSight to support custom technology classifications. | Enterprise, now sold within PatentSight. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Classification and benchmarking. |
The taxonomy is the productThird independent proof of the same point, after Corlytics and LexisNexis. A classification taxonomy is the durable asset in this market, and yours is 55 controls across ten domains. | A proprietary classification scheme as the moat. | Patents. Absorbed into a larger analytics product, so no longer an independent position. | Site: proprietary machine learning mapping patents to custom and industry-standard taxonomies. Press: acquired by LexisNexis, terms undisclosed, folded into PatentSight. |
| 19 | TrademarkNow (Portfolio 360)Checked | Enterprise trade mark teams, law firms and branding agencies. Listed in the Singapore IP management software directory, so it is sold into your market. | Trade mark search, watching, research and analysis. ExaMatch and NameCheck for clearance, NameWatch and Competitor Watch for monitoring, Portfolio 360 for a consolidated view of a trade mark estate. | Enterprise. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Clearance, watching, portfolio view. |
Intelligent trade mark managementThe only vendor in Part B that names branding agencies as a buyer, which is the closest any IP tool gets to a marketing audience. Now inside Corsearch, so it sits under the same owner as Anaqua. | Name and handle clearance at launch, which touches your per-market strategy feature, plus a portfolio view of the mark estate. | Clearance and watching rather than ownership of the wider commercial estate. No licences, no valuation, no owner buyer. | Site: intelligent trade mark management through ExaMatch, NameCheck, NameWatch, Competitor Watch and Portfolio 360. Names enterprises, law firms and branding agencies as buyers. |
Three vendors from this category's market reports were moved to Part Q because no relevant product could be identified. Two names from the same reports are worth a look if you ever extend into trade mark docketing and were not examined here: TM Cloud and Computer Packages, both long-standing docketing systems. PatSeer and Gridlogics sit on the patent analytics side and are unlikely to matter to you.
The category that proves unregistered IP plus contracts in a register is already a product, and gives you the template for a narrow first claim that survives scrutiny. Note the shape of it: two very small vendors and one government deposit service. Trade secrets are the one intangible class where a defensible governance product already exists, and it exists because the Defend Trade Secrets Act created a reasonable measures standard somebody has to satisfy. No equivalent standard exists for brands, which is the whole reason Part C is this thin.

| 20 | TangiblyChecked | Multinationals, global law firms and startups. Inside the client it reaches legal and IP teams plus HR, R&D, security and leadership. DLA Piper piloted it. | A trade secret register covering know-how, proprietary code, business methods, financial models and customer lists. Identifies and documents the assets, establishes governance and ownership, then operationalises the reasonable measures standard through access controls, acknowledgments when confidential information is shared, agreement and expiry tracking to reduce third-party leakage, training with completion tracking, and audit-ready records. AI discovery reads patents and internal documents to surface likely trade secret content. | SaaS, not published. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Unregistered assets, controls and evidence. |
World's first IP management platformLaunched claiming to be the world's first IP management platform to turn trade secrets into protected assets, and said at the time it had no direct competitors on par with it. The claim held because it was scoped to one asset class. That is the technique to copy, not the wording. Its framing of the job is also worth borrowing: most companies only look at this after something has gone wrong. | The closest philosophical match in the register. Assets, ownership, controls, evidence, and a legal standard to satisfy. It is your product for one asset class, and it proves a compliance framing sells where a management framing does not. | Trade secrets only. No trade marks, no commercial brand assets, no licensing revenue, no valuation or disclosure. Seed stage and modestly funded, so not a scale threat. | Site: connects people, contracts and training to the assets. Covers know-how, proprietary code, business methods, financial models and customer lists. Operationalises the reasonable measures standard. AI discovery from patents and internal documents. SOC 2, SSO, audit logs. Press: launched February 2022 as the world’s first IP management platform for trade secrets, and said it had no direct competitors on par with it. $8.5M raised. SIM IP litigation finance partnership January 2026. |
| 21 | Chawton Innovation ServicesChecked | Operating companies, plus legal and IP firms, finance and tax firms, and IP insurance providers. It sells the tool to advisers so they can build a trade secret service line of their own. | Hazel is a trade secret asset management tool built around structured trade secret metadata, with modules extending to trade secret cost management. Sold alongside education, training and consultancy, and offered to IP firms that want to design and deploy their own trade secret service offering. Over 50 published papers on trade secret asset management sit behind it, co-authored with David Cohen and with Michael Kasdan of Wiggin and Dana's Trade Secret Practice Group. | Not published. Quoted on request, bundled with consultancy. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Unregistered assets with structured metadata. |
Manage a fragile asset properlyTwo things to take. First, the go-to-market: it licenses the tool to law firms, accountants and insurers so they can sell a service around it, which is the partner-led motion recommended for your valuer and accountant channel. Second, the authority position: 150 papers, a professorship and an IAM300 listing are why an adviser trusts a one-person-plus-tool operation. | A structured register of unregistered assets with a metadata model, sold through advisers rather than direct. | Trade secrets only. No brand, no commercial assets, no registrations. Small, consultancy-dependent and not a scale threat, but the channel model is worth studying. | Site: Hazel trade secret asset management, sold to companies and to legal, finance, tax and insurance firms wanting their own service line. Trade secret cost management modules. Authority claims: Donal O’Connell, former Nokia VP of R&D and Director of IP, Adjunct Professor at Imperial College Business School, IAM300 Top Global IP Strategist, 150-plus published papers. |
| 158 | BOIP i-DEPOTChecked | Any business or individual wanting dated proof that an unregistered creation existed on a given day. No IP knowledge required. | A confidential deposit service. Upload up to 100MB per deposit, documents, drawings, audio or video, and receive a registration number that can be referenced in NDAs and licences. The electronic signature is recognised by courts across the EU. It does not grant a right, it evidences existence and date. | Around EUR 35 per deposit. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Dated evidence of unregistered creations. |
Proof of existence, for EUR 35The cheapest and most defensible piece of unregistered IP infrastructure in this register, and it is a government service. It answers the one question your unregistered brand and trade secret records need to answer in a dispute: what existed, and when. | Evidence with a date and a reference number that can be cited in an agreement. Your unregistered records should carry the same thing, and where a client operates in Europe you should be telling them to deposit and then recording the deposit number in Zavior. | A deposit, not a register. No workflow, no controls, no ownership chain, no renewals. Benelux issued, though usable more widely, and it does nothing for trade marks or commercial assets. | Site: confidential deposit up to 100MB for around EUR 35. Registration number citable in NDAs and licences. Electronic signature recognised by judges across the EU. States plainly that it evidences existence and date rather than granting a right. |
The contract half of your product, built to enterprise depth. Thirteen vendors, and every one of them assumes the mark already exists, is registered and is owned. Watch the ownership too: MyMediabox sits inside Constellation Software, Rightsline sits with Vistex, and Astorg holds Anaqua and Corsearch. This map is consolidating from both ends. FADEL puts brand compliance and IP licensing in one sentence, Octane5 put compliance in the product name, and MyMediabox calls itself brand management software while doing licensing operations, so three of the phrases you are choosing between are already occupied here. Rightsline leads every 2026 roundup in the category.

The AIVA agent reads contracts in any format and creates parties, deals and royalty terms automatically. | Enterprise, ERP integrated. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Contracts and rights core. Licensee portal is semi public. |
Brand compliance and IP licensingThe most direct rival claim in this register. FADEL describes itself as delivering AI enabled software to manage brand compliance and IP licensing, helping organisations govern content and usage rights at scale. That is a brand and IP governance claim in everything but name. | Licences granted and relied on, rights by territory, approvals, and a partner portal. The strongest overlap on the contract side of your product. | No trade mark register, no renewals, no unregistered IP, no valuation or disclosure output. Buyer is an enterprise licensing operation, not an owner with eleven marks. | Site: AI-enabled software to manage brand compliance and IP licensing, governing content and usage rights at scale. Rights by property, region and media type with collision checking and hole analysis. AIVA reads contracts in any format. Named customers Marvel, Bandai, Pearson, Tervis, Synaptics. |
| 23 | FlowhavenChecked | Brand licensing professionals and licensing executives at consumer products and entertainment brands. | Licensing relationship management. Captures territories, distribution channels and deal parameters from signed agreements, gives licensees portal access to approved assets, collects SKU and product detail, ingests quarterly royalty statements and checks them automatically against contract terms to surface discrepancies. Tracks security hangtag development to distinguish authentic product. | Subscription, Salesforce dependent. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Licences and approvals core. |
Licensing relationship managementCoined its own category label rather than claiming governance. Worth studying: a made up category name that stuck. | Your licence tracker with renewal dates, territories and partner access, done deeper. | No IP register underneath. No unregistered IP, no valuation, no disclosure. Assumes a licensing programme already exists. | Site: licensing relationship management, a category name of its own making. Built on Salesforce. Royalty statement validation against contract terms. Security hangtag tracking. Licensing International member. Press: founded 2016 by Kalle Törmä, previously in licensing operations at Rovio. |
| 24 | Dependable SolutionsChecked | Food and apparel, consumer products, collegiate licensing, music and media. | Cloud brand licensing management covering licensing contracts, royalties, product approvals and digital assets. | Enterprise subscription. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Licences and royalties. |

Founded 2005. Verticals named as food, apparel, collegiate, music and media. |
| 159 | RightslineChecked | Global licensors in media, entertainment, publishing, technology and life sciences. Buyer is a rights or royalty operations lead. | Centralises rights, royalties, contracts and sales data in one system. Automated royalty calculation with compliance controls and audit trails, support for multiple royalty methods and retroactive recalculation when sales arrive late, product approvals, real-time revenue visibility, and managed services that validate licensee statements and resolve discrepancies. ERP integration including SAP. | Enterprise. Category coverage notes high implementation cost and long custom setup. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Rights, royalties and audit trails. |
IP commerce, end to endThe category leader by every 2026 roundup, and the one that frames licensing as commerce rather than legal admin. Its retroactive recalculation and statement validation are the operational depth you will never match and should never try to. | Rights defined by territory and term, with an audit trail and revenue attached. Your licence tracker is the shallow, owner-facing version of this. | No IP register underneath. No trade marks, renewals, unregistered brands, valuation or disclosure. Assumes a mature licensing programme already exists. | Site: centralises rights, royalties, contracts and sales data. Automated royalty calculation with compliance controls and audit trails, retroactive recalculation, managed services validating licensee statements. ERP and SAP integration. Third party: ranked first in three separate 2026 brand licensing roundups. |
| 160 | VistexChecked | Licensors, licensees and agents at enterprise scale in music, media, content, entertainment, consumer goods, and oil and gas. | Runs the whole licensing supply chain: rights management, royalty processing, reporting, sub-ledger accounting, financial management and analysis, product approvals and partner relationship management. Validates product designs and sales statements between licensor and licensee. Explicitly covers both copyrighted and trademarked intellectual property, which most of this part does not say out loud. | Enterprise, ERP scale. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Rights, royalties and the ledger. |
360 degree visibility across the supply chainOne of the few in this part to name trademarked IP alongside copyright, and the only one that lands licensing in sub-ledger accounting. If a client's licensing revenue is material, this is where the CFO's version of the truth lives. | Rights and royalties tied to the general ledger. | No trade mark register, no renewals, no unregistered brands, no valuation or disclosure. Requires an ERP programme to justify it. | Site: 360 degree visibility across the licensing supply chain. Explicitly covers copyrighted and trademarked IP. Runs on SAP S/4HANA and Fiori. Rights, royalties, sub-ledger accounting, product approvals, partner relationship management. |
| 161 | MyMediaboxChecked | Licensors and agents in entertainment, sports, character merchandising, fashion, publishing and consumer goods. Named users include Sony Interactive, Vans and the ASPCA. | Four modules: Mediabox-RM for contracts, rights, royalties, discrepancy detection and rights availability; Mediabox-PA for product approvals; Mediabox-DAM for digital assets; and Mediabox-SM for security tag management. Contract intake captures rates, tiers, advances, guarantees, recoupment, deductions and expiry in structured fields so legal, finance and brand approvers work from the same record. | Enterprise. Not published. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Contracts, approvals, royalties, assets. |
Brand management, all in oneIt sells brand management while doing licensing operations, and it sells permanence against venture-backed rivals, leaning on Constellation Software's balance sheet. Note also that it draws the same line you need to draw, telling buyers that licensing management software is a different category from software asset management. | Structured contract fields with expiry dates, a partner portal, and a security tag module that authenticates genuine product. | No register of the marks themselves. Its own threshold is the useful bit: ten licensees can be tracked manually, fifty or more needs a platform. Everything below ten is your market and invisible to this part. | Site: brand integrity as the stated outcome. Four modules across contracts and royalties, product approvals, digital assets and security tag management. 9,000-plus professionals in 125 countries. Over 10,000 contract configurations. Twenty-plus years. Sells permanence, contrasting itself with venture-backed rivals, on the strength of Jonas and Constellation Software ownership. States its own threshold: ten licensees can be tracked manually, fifty or more needs a platform. |
| 162 | Octane5 (BrandComply)Checked | Licensors running programmes with roughly twenty licensees or more. Staffed largely by people who came from brand-side licensing roles. | BrandComply covers rights management, forecasting, compliance, royalties and approvals. THREADS adds a QR code for interactive digital authentication of physical product and consumer engagement at the same time. | Enterprise, scaled to programme size. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Rights, royalties and product authentication. |
Compliance in the product nameIt put compliance in the product name for a licensing tool, which tells you the word sells to this buyer. THREADS is also the clearest example of an authorised-asset signal attached to a physical product, which is what your Trust Centre does for a digital one. | Compliance framing, plus authentication of what is genuinely authorised. | Licensing programmes at scale. No register, no unregistered IP, no valuation. | Site: BrandComply for rights, forecasting, compliance, royalties and approvals. THREADS for QR-based digital authentication of physical product plus consumer engagement. Suited to programmes above roughly twenty licensees. Press: sales led by Denise Penn, previously senior licensing manager at ITV and then Dependable Solutions. |
| 163 | RoyaltyZoneChecked | Licensors whose pain is statements and payments rather than approvals. | Automated royalty accounting, reporting and payment processing for brand licensing deals. | Subscription, not published. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Royalty accounting. |
Get paid correctlyThe narrowest and clearest value proposition in the part. Money owed, calculated correctly. Nothing about assets. | Renewal and payment dates against a licence. | Accounting only. | Site: automated royalty accounting, reporting and payment processing. |
| 164 | FilmTrackChecked | Major studios and content distributors. | Rights management covering content availability, territorial restrictions and contractual obligations across distribution windows. | Enterprise. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Territorial rights and availability. |
Rights, by territory and windowTerritory and term modelling done to the deepest level anywhere in this register. If you ever need to model a complex regional licence properly, this is the reference implementation. | Rights sliced by territory, term and channel, which is what your third-party rights types imply. | Content and media. Nothing about marks or ownership. | Site: enterprise rights management for studios and distributors, covering availability, territorial restriction and contractual obligation across distribution windows. |
| 166 | ArtonomoChecked | Art and design-led licensing programmes, and agencies managing image libraries. Jewel's own clients include the Frank Lloyd Wright estate with around 70 licensees. | Image tagging and allocation of each image against licensees, products, royalties and categories. Built for programmes where the licensed asset is artwork rather than a character or a trade mark. Trade coverage describes the interface as functional rather than sophisticated, and notes the agency now depends on it and uses it to win clients. | From £400 per month, published. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Artwork licensing at SME price. |
Built by practitioners, sold to peersThe cheapest entry anywhere in this part and the closest origin story to yours. A practitioner built the tool for their own work, found it became a selling point with clients, then productised it. That is exactly how your 55 controls came about, and it is a story worth telling in the same terms. | Practitioner-built, published pricing, SME affordable, and the tool itself used as proof of competence when pitching. | Art licensing only. No trade marks, no register, no valuation, no governance. | Site: image tagging and allocation against licensees, products, royalties and categories. Published price from £400 per month. Trade press: built by Jewel Branding and Licensing for its own use, then released for sale. Frank Lloyd Wright programme with around 70 licensees. | 167 | Fabacus (Xelacore)Checked | Licensors, licensees and brands running consumer product licensing programmes. Notably it charges the licensees rather than the licensor, so it reaches the brand owner free. | Xelacore Register builds an authenticated product catalogue with unique identifiers and associated digital assets, validated by every stakeholder, with data validations and governance checks throughout. That authenticated catalogue is then syndicated to retailers and online marketplaces, and to Amazon and Google directly, to improve discoverability of genuine goods and to support removal of illegitimate ones. Product approvals are tied to product tracking, so the licensor sees what is actually in market rather than waiting for a quarterly royalty report. Now extending into EU Digital Product Passports. | Charged to licensees, free to the licensor. Flexible, some licensors have licensees absorb it contractually. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB An authenticated registry, syndicated outward. |
Authenticate the catalogue, then publish itThe most important entry in this part for you, and I had it wrong as two separate rows. An authenticated register of legitimate items, published outward to marketplaces so the illegitimate ones can be removed, is your authorised asset whitelist and your Trust Centre, built for SKUs instead of brand assets. Someone has already proved the mechanism works and that Amazon and Google will consume the feed. | Very high on mechanism, low on object. Register, authenticate, syndicate, enforce. Also note the pricing inversion: the party who benefits from control is not the party who pays. Worth thinking about for distributor and franchisee-heavy clients. And the Digital Product Passport work shows a licensing platform attaching itself to an incoming regulation, which is the forcing-function move you still need to make. | Consumer products and SKUs. It does not hold trade marks, registrations, renewals, unregistered brands, licences you rely on, valuation or disclosure. It assumes the licensing programme and the underlying rights already exist. | Site: Xelacore Register as a centralised authenticated product catalogue with unique identifiers and digital assets, validated by all stakeholders, with data validations and governance checks. Syndicated to retailers, marketplaces and directly to Amazon and Google to improve discoverability of genuine goods and support removal of illegitimate ones. Charges licensees rather than licensors. Extending into EU Digital Product Passports. Press: Hasbro, Universal Products & Experiences, Ben Sherman, Ubisoft, Venum. Backed by Seneca Partners. |
| 168 | BrainbaseChecked | Brand owners and licensing teams wanting one system for deals, contracts, royalties and approvals, pitched lighter than the enterprise incumbents. | Tracks and visualises brand performance, contracts and royalties, manages approvals, tracks deals, and flags contract violations against agreed terms. | Not published. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Deals, royalties, violations. |
Spot contract violationsThe only vendor in this part that puts violation detection in its headline. That is compliance language applied to licensing, and it is the nearest thing here to what your licence tracker should say. Off the to-check list after four passes. | Contract violation detection against agreed terms, and a lighter weight product for a smaller licensing programme. | No IP register, no unregistered brands, no valuation or disclosure, no commercial asset estate. Still a licensing operations tool, just a more accessible one. | Site: unified licensing management. Track and visualise brand performance, contracts and royalties, manage approvals, track deals, and spot contract violations. |
MyMediabox states the category's own entry point plainly: a programme with ten licensees can be tracked manually, and one with fifty or more active licensees across multiple territories and quarterly royalty periods needs a dedicated platform. Everything below ten is invisible to all thirteen vendors here. That is your buyer, and it is the reason a licence tracker inside a register beats a licensing platform for the clients you are selling to.
One entry remains unchecked. Rights Logic was named in rights management comparisons and no vendor material was read, so it should be verified or moved to Part Q. Golden Goose was tagged in the same trade coverage as the vendors above and was not examined at all.
Registered IP, unregistered disclosures, agreements and a portfolio view, combined and sold for roughly two decades. Wrong buyer and wrong vocabulary, which is why nobody counts it as competition. Someone checking a first claim will.

Every aspect of your IP portfolioClaims to manage every aspect of the IP portfolio including disclosures, docketing, renewals, licensing and agreements. The broadest functional claim in this register outside Anaqua. | Structurally the closest thing to your feature set. Invention disclosures are unregistered IP, agreements are the contracts, and the portfolio view is the portfolio. This row is why the combination itself cannot be your first claim. | Research commercialisation vocabulary and buyer. No brands, no commercial assets, no lender or disclosure output. Users report it runs slowly and is hard to customise. | Site: manage every aspect of your IP portfolio, from a small growing portfolio through to complex IP licensing and contract management. Every vendor here uses the phrase brand governance and means guideline compliance. G2's own category definition puts brand asset management under DAM, covering logos, colours, fonts and media, with marketing teams as the primary users. If you use the same phrase without defining it, buyers and models will file you here.

Where your brand impersonation scan and Trust Centre reporting sit, at the light end. These vendors find infringement. None of them record what you own in the first place. Read the Corsearch entry closely: Astorg owns both Corsearch and Anaqua, which puts the leading enforcement platform and the leading IP register under one owner. The last three entries are corporate domain portfolio managers, a category missing from the first eleven drafts of this register. They matter because they treat one of your commercial asset types as an asset to be inventoried, renewed and defended, and one of them is now a $450 million business.

Register and protect in oneThe tightest incumbent bundle of register and enforcement aimed at owners. | Owner facing, register plus monitoring. | No commercial assets, no unregistered brands, no value or disclosure. | Site: global monitoring for potential IP infringements with automated enforcement, analytics on infringement patterns and response coordination. |
| 47 | CorsearchChecked | Enterprise brand owners and law firms. Its own positioning names three departments: legal, brand and marketing. Buyer is a trade mark counsel or a brand protection lead, never an owner. | Trade mark screening and clearance, trade mark watching and monitoring, domain name protection, online brand protection, counterfeit identification and removal, impersonation response, grey market and parallel import threats, and anti-piracy content protection. Software plus a team of analysts, sold as one programme across the brand lifecycle from clearance through to enforcement. | Enterprise, not published by Corsearch. One software directory lists plans from £5,000 per user per month, which should be treated as that directory's figure rather than a confirmed price. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Clearance, watching, enforcement. |
Brand Risk and PerformanceIt trademarked its own category name, Brand Risk and Performance, and describes the job as supporting brands to market their assets and reduce commercial risk, from IP clearance through brand protection to anti-piracy, so businesses can secure brand value and thrive commercially. That is your sentence, arrived at from the enforcement side rather than the register side. Its tagline is that behind the world's best-known brands, there's Corsearch. | Higher than the earlier draft credited. It touches domains, social impersonation, marketplace listings and grey market imports, which are four of your commercial asset types, and it sells to legal, brand and marketing together, which is your whole-organisation argument. The difference is the object: Corsearch searches the internet for infringement of a mark, while you hold a record of which storefront, handle and domain are yours and authorised. Detection versus ownership. The structural point matters more. Astorg owns Corsearch and Anaqua. One private equity house holds the leading IP management register and the leading brand clearance and enforcement platform, and has stated it would actively consider further M&A. If those two object models are ever joined, the result covers registered rights, agreements, domains, marketplaces and grey market in one product. That is the largest single structural threat in this register, and it is already under one roof. |
No asset register you maintain, no renewals or docketing, no licences granted or relied on, no unregistered brand record, no valuation or disclosure output, no public verification page, and no owner-level buyer or price. It assumes the mark exists, is registered and is owned, then watches the world for misuse of it. | Site: Brand Risk and Performance, trademarked as its own category. Supports brands to market their assets and reduce commercial risk, from IP clearance through brand protection to anti-piracy, so businesses can secure brand value and thrive commercially. Tagline positions it behind the world’s best-known brands. Founded 1949, 800-plus employees, 5,000-plus clients including many of the Fortune 100. Names legal, brand and marketing as the three departments served. Press: acquired by Astorg from Audax in April 2021, with Cobepa alongside and Audax retaining a minority. Astorg also owns Anaqua. |

Digital risk protectionLook at its channel list: marketplaces, websites, social media, paid ads, mobile apps and domains. That is your commercial asset taxonomy, arrived at independently, from the enforcement side. Nobody reaches that list from the ownership side except you. | Same asset types, opposite direction. It searches the open internet for misuse. You hold the record of what is authorised. Its CentralNic partnership also shows the pattern of bolting a domain portfolio manager onto enforcement, which is half of what your commercial asset tracker does. | Detection and takedown. No ownership record, no registrations or renewals, no licences, no valuation, no disclosure. It needs a list of what is authorised in order to work, and it does not produce that list. | Site: the world’s most widely trusted brand protection platform. AI trained over ten years. 900-plus brands. Processes information across more than 5,000 marketplaces, websites and social platforms. AI models handle over 2.7 billion data points a month. Domains, inventoried, renewed, right-sized against strategy, defended. That is the strongest proof anywhere in this register that a commercial brand asset is worth governing as an asset, and it was missing from the first eleven drafts. | Continuous review of a portfolio against current needs and future strategy, renewals, defensive coverage decisions and an authorised-versus-hostile distinction. | 171 | CSC (Corporation Service Company)Checked | Large corporates with legal and compliance functions. Industry commentary notes smaller corporate customers have historically been overlooked. | Corporate domain registrar and brand protection, with its position built on enterprise-level compliance, legal integration and trade mark protection rather than price. | Premium, not published. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Domains with compliance and legal integration. |
Compliance and legal integrationThe incumbent Markmonitor Group was assembled to attack. Note what its dominance is built on: compliance, legal integration and trade mark protection. That is the same three-part argument you make, sold on one asset class, to a much larger buyer. | Compliance framing on a brand asset class, with legal integration. | Domains. No register of the marks, no unregistered brands, no commercial estate beyond domains, no valuation. | Third party: long held the top spot in corporate domain management, serving the majority of the Fortune 500, with dominance built on enterprise-level compliance, legal integration and trade mark protection. |
| 172 | CentralNic Brand Services and SafenamesChecked | Large and high-growth businesses needing domain portfolio management, optimisation and online security. | Corporate domain portfolio management, optimisation and security, delivered with named domain experts. The Red Points partnership pairs domain management with AI counterfeit detection and removal, explicitly to create an end-to-end brand protection experience. | Not published. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Domains plus bolted-on enforcement. |
End to end brand protectionThe partnership is the point. A domain portfolio manager and an enforcement platform bolted together and marketed as end to end. Neither party holds the trade mark record, and the join is a commercial agreement rather than one object model. That gap between them is the space your register occupies. | Domains held as assets, feeding an enforcement engine. Exactly the two halves your commercial asset tracker and impersonation scan connect natively. | Domains and takedowns. No marks, no unregistered brands, no handles or storefronts, no licences, no valuation. | Press: described as the trusted global leader in domain portfolio management for corporations and enterprise businesses, managing over 45 million domains. The Red Points partnership marketed as creating an end-to-end brand protection experience. |
Domains were previously treated in this register as a column nobody owned. That was wrong. Corporate domain management is a mature category with premium pricing, a $450 million consolidation completed in January 2026, and its leader's dominance built explicitly on compliance, legal integration and trade mark protection. For domains specifically, specialists hold an owned-asset record with renewals and defensive strategy, and they do it better than you will.
What none of them holds is the mark the domain protects, the handles and storefronts beside it, or the licences that let anyone else use any of it. And the CentralNic and Red Points partnership shows how the industry joins those halves: a commercial agreement between two vendors rather than one object model. Your claim on domains should therefore never be that you manage them better. It should be that you are the only place a domain sits in the same record as the trade mark it protects.
These firms sell the outcome your platform sells. Most have no product, which makes them the best partner candidates and the sharpest narrative rivals. EverEdge is the one to take seriously in Australia. Inngot is the exception and the most important entry in this whole register: it is a working platform, priced for an SME, already claiming the world first you were considering. Read entry 90 before anything else.

Direct competitor for attention, not for product. | Same market, same buyer, same monetisation story, no platform. | Agency model. Either your closest content rival or your best referral partner. Decide which. | Site: registration through to financing, with guidance on the 2026 Singapore valuation guidelines, CVA and IVAS certified valuers, and Enterprise Innovation Scheme deductions. |
| 52 | Big four valuation practicesChecked | Listed companies, large private groups, transactions. | IA and IP valuation, transaction support and policy work. EY authored the WIPO country report documenting Singapore's IP-backed financing ecosystem. | Engagement fees. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Valuation and policy. |
Standard settersThey wrote the framework the market runs on. Not competitors. The people whose language your disclosure output should match exactly. | You produce the inputs they charge to assemble. | Priced out of the SME market entirely, which is the whole opportunity. | Published work: EY authored the WIPO country report on Singapore’s IP-backed financing journey. |
| 53 | IVAS and the CVA programmeChecked | Certified valuers and appraisers in Singapore. | Certifies the valuers who perform official IP valuations in Singapore. Ecosystem body rather than a vendor. | Not applicable. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Standards and certification. |
Not a competitorThe referral channel most likely to send you clients, because a valuer cannot value what the client has not documented. | None. Pure channel. | Not a software provider at all. | Site: certifies the valuers who perform official IP valuations in Singapore, supported by IPOS. |
Free, official, and closer to your commercial asset idea than the commercial vendors are. Never compete with these. Position around them.

| 54 | IPOS Digital Hub and IPOS GoChecked | Every Singapore business that owns a trade mark. Your entire target market already has an account. | File a trade mark in under 10 minutes, respond to office actions, transfer ownership, renew and record trade mark licences. Classification Recommender since January 2024. A dashboard giving an overview of the enterprise IP portfolio with filing history, and a deadlines tracker. Brand Search checks similar business names, trade marks, web domains and social media usernames in one place. | Free, official fees only. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Filings, renewals, portfolio view, name search. |
The official registerDoes not need a claim. Note that Brand Search already checks trade marks, domains and social handles together, which is the nearest thing anywhere to your commercial asset concept, and it is free. | Portfolio dashboard, renewals, licence recording, and a name check spanning domains and social handles. More overlap than any commercial vendor on the specific Singapore workflow. | Filings only. Singapore only. Point in time search rather than an owned asset record. No third party rights, no contracts beyond recorded licences, no unregistered IP, no valuation, and no API to integrate with. | Site: file a trade mark in under ten minutes. Classification Recommender since January 2024. Dashboard and Deadlines Tracker in beta from December 2024. Brand Search checks similar business names, trade marks, web domains and social media usernames in one place. |
| 55 | IP Australia online servicesChecked | Every Australian trade mark owner, plus attorneys and IP software developers. | File, track and maintain Australian rights through Online Services, with due dates displayed in the portal. TM Headstart gives a pre-application assessment. TM Checker is a free AI tool that predicts whether a proposed mark is likely to hit examination problems, trained on IP Australia's own examination data. Guidance under Manage my IP covers renewals, keeping details current, commercialisation, identifying infringement and IP insurance. Critically, there is a public API programme: an Australian Trade Mark Search API with quick search, retrieval by number and an updated-since filter, plus an IP right management business-to-business API that includes renewal endpoints. There is no fee to connect, only the usual action fees. | Free to use, official fees for actions. API connection free. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Filings, renewals, free AI checker, open API. |
The official register, with the door openThis is the most useful single discovery in the verification pass. IP Australia publishes APIs, including renewals, while IPOS has no public API. Australia is therefore the market where your register can synchronise directly with the official record rather than asking a client to type it in. | Portfolio view, due dates, renewals, and a free AI trade mark check that sits where your free scans sit. The API turns it from a competitor into infrastructure you can build on. | Registered rights only. Practitioner commentary is blunt that the portal shows due dates but you still need your own diary system, and that certificates, correspondence and agreements need centralising somewhere else. That gap is your product. | Site: TM Checker presented as a free app using AI trained on IP Australia’s own examination data. TM Headstart for pre-application assessment. Publishes APIs with no fee to connect, including trade mark search and a business-to-business IP rights management API with renewal endpoints. |
| 56 | WIPO business toolsChecked | Businesses of any size, with no IP knowledge assumed, plus the advisers and training bodies that deploy the tools. | IP Diagnostics is a free self-assessment that helps a business identify its IP assets and generates a report with recommendations on IP and business competitiveness, section by section. WIPO separately publishes IP audit guidance and methodology. WIPO also administers the international filing systems, though the IP Portal interface itself was not examined in this research. | Free. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Free diagnostics and audit method. |
Identify what you own, freeThe most credible issuer in IP giving away the identification step. Run IP Diagnostics against Zavior and compare its question set with your Essential nine before you defend a price. | A guided self-assessment producing a recommendations report, from an authority nobody argues with. Your free scans occupy the same slot with less credibility behind them. | One-off diagnostics, not a maintained register. No renewals, no licences, no commercial assets, no valuation. | Site: IP Diagnostics offered free to help a business identify its IP assets, generating a tailored report with recommendations. Deployed with the ICC Centre of Entrepreneurship. Separately publishes IP audit guidance covering coverage gaps, ownership verification and unused assets. |
Twenty seven vendors that hold the contract and have no concept of the asset it depends on. This is the category most likely to produce the objection that contracts are already handled, and the one most likely to encroach, because obligation extraction is already close to what you do with licence terms. Gartner named Icertis, Ironclad, Sirion, DocuSign and Agiloft as Leaders in 2024. Forrester named Icertis, Ironclad, Sirion and Agiloft in its Q1 2025 Wave. Six of the thirteen best known vendors are private equity or parent owned, so read this category as a roll-up in progress.

Configurable workflows, compliance and policy automation, contract analytics. | Custom enterprise. Category range $50K to $250K+ a year. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Contract governance only. |
Strengthen governanceThe vendor that owns the word governance in contracting, described as helping organisations standardise processes and strengthen governance across global operations. Governance of the document, not the asset. | Obligation extraction is exactly what you do with licence terms. Highest conceptual overlap in this category. | No asset record. Will show you a licence agreement and never tell you which mark it depends on or whether that mark is registered in the granted territory. | Site: helps organisations standardise contracting processes and strengthen governance across global operations. Extracts obligations, risks and commercial data and ties them into ERP and CRM. Third party: Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader 2024 and Forrester Wave Leader Q1 2025. |

Contract intelligenceNo brand or IP claim. The market leader by valuation, so its vocabulary sets buyer expectations for what a contract platform should do. | Renewal workflow and approvals. | No asset record, no register, twelve week onboarding. | Site: modern enterprise CLM with AI Assist, on GPT-4 since 2023. Third party: around $200M ARR and a $3.2B-plus valuation. Gartner and Forrester Leader. |

Argues buyers need contracts turned into connected operational intelligence rather than static documents. | Custom enterprise. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Obligations and performance. |
Connected operational intelligenceThe closest philosophical rival in CLM. Same argument you make about scattered records, applied to supplier obligations. Also worth studying as a content operation: its library pages rank for competitor comparisons across the whole category. | Obligations tied to performance and value. The framing is yours, the object is not. | Supplier and commercial obligations. No IP asset, no brand, no valuation. | Site: argues contracts should become connected operational intelligence rather than static documents. LLM-grade clause and obligation extraction. Also runs the comparison content library that ranks across the category. Third party: Gartner and Forrester Leader. Haveli-owned. |
| 60 | AgiloftChecked | Enterprises with complex business logic and extreme configuration needs. | No-code configurable CLM with highly customisable workflow architecture. Implementation typically 12 weeks or more. | $45K to $200K+ a year. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Configurable contracts. |
Configure anythingThe build-it-yourself threat. A determined customer could configure Agiloft into an IP and brand register. Nobody does, because someone has to design the data model first, which is the actual work you have already done. | Could theoretically hold your object model. | Ships empty. No IP schema, no frameworks, no jurisdictions, no valuation logic. | Site: no-code configurability and the only CLM in the category offering on-premise deployment. Third party: Gartner and Forrester Leader. KKR-owned. |
| 61 | DocuSign CLMChecked | Teams already deep in the DocuSign e-signature ecosystem. | Extends e-signature into lifecycle workflow, storage and analytics. Implementation typically 12 weeks or more. | $20K to $100K+ a year. E-signature pricing is published. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Signature to storage. |
Agreement managementNo brand or IP claim. Relevant because signature is where a licence becomes real, and many of your prospects already sign here. | Executed licence storage. A likely integration rather than a rival. | Documents, not assets. | Site: extends e-signature into lifecycle workflow, storage and analytics. Third party: Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader 2024. |
| 62 | Conga CLMChecked | Enterprises with Salesforce centric revenue operations. | CLM built around Salesforce, with document generation and quote to contract workflow. | Enterprise, varies by module. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Salesforce contracts. |

| 63 | Workday Contract IntelligenceChecked | Organisations modernising legacy contract repositories. | AI metadata extraction that identifies key terms and obligations automatically, enterprise search, analytics dashboards and repository consolidation across systems. | $30K to $150K+ a year. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Extraction and search. |
Contract intelligenceSolves the problem you solve at onboarding: reading a pile of existing agreements and turning them into structured records. Now inside Workday, so the buyer is finance and HR adjacent. | Automated extraction from uploaded documents, the same mechanic as your certificate auto-fill. | Extracts from contracts only. No registration certificates, no register, no asset. | Site: AI metadata extraction identifying key terms and obligations automatically, plus enterprise search, analytics and repository consolidation. Press: Evisort acquired by Workday and rebranded. |
| 64 | LinkSquaresChecked | Mid market in-house legal teams. | Drafting, negotiation, approval, e-signature and a central repository, with AI clause extraction and visibility over terms, obligations and key dates. | $25K to $100K+ a year. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Repository and dates. |
Visibility into key datesKey date tracking is the feature your buyer thinks covers renewals. It covers contract renewals, not registration renewals, and nobody explains the difference. | Key date and obligation visibility. | No registry data, no jurisdictions. | Site: drafting, negotiation, approval, e-signature and repository, with AI clause extraction and visibility into terms, obligations and key dates. Publishes its own CLM roundups. |
| 65 | JuroChecked | Growing legal and commercial teams. The European mid market leader. | Collaborative browser based contract automation and negotiation, built for ease of use rather than configurability. | $15K to $50K+ a year, per user. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Fast contracting. |

GDPR native. Per-user pricing. |

Legal team satisfactionNo asset claim. | Low. | Contracts. | Site: mid-market CLM. Third party: high satisfaction scores alongside LinkSquares and Juro. |
| 67 | GatekeeperChecked | Mid market procurement and vendor management. | Combines a vendor register with contract management, renewals and spend visibility. One of the few CLM vendors to publish a price. | From about $875 a month. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Vendors plus contracts. |
Vendor and contract registerThe only CLM that actually builds a register of counterparties rather than only documents. Structurally the nearest CLM to your third party rights tracker, but the object is a supplier, not a right. | Register logic plus published transparent pricing, which you both do and most of this category does not. | Suppliers and spend. No IP, no brand, no valuation. | Site: vendor and contract management with renewals and spend visibility, and a published price from about $875 a month, which almost nobody in the category does. |
| 68 | ConcordChecked | Mid market teams wanting reporting and analytics without a long build. | Contract creation, storage and reporting with strong analytics and a short implementation. | $25K to $75K+ a year. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Contracts and reporting. |

Predictable pricingFlat rate rather than per seat, which matters because your register is fed by many departments. Same pricing logic as your single plan. | Whole organisation access on one price. | Storage. | Site: flat-rate pricing across the portfolio rather than per seat. Popular with private-equity-backed mid-market. |
| 70 | ContractSafeChecked | Mid market teams replacing shared drives. | Searchable contract repository with reminders. Positioned in the mid market tier alongside Concord and Gatekeeper. | Mid market subscription. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Search and reminders. |

AI first, Asia builtThe only Asia headquartered vendor in this category. | 72 | PandaDocChecked | Small and mid sized businesses. Document automation as much as contracting. | Document automation and contract management for SMBs, with the fastest implementation in the category. | $19 to $89 per user per month. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB SMB documents. |
Contracts for small businessThe one your actual buyer already pays for. When a founder says the contracts are handled, this or Google Drive is usually what they mean. Price it against your $100 a month directly. | Same buyer, same price band, same self serve motion. | Sends and stores documents. No register, no renewals on registrations, no asset. | Site: document automation and contract management for small business, published at $19 to $89 per user per month, with the fastest implementation in the category at one to two weeks. |

Included because the absence matters. Not one GRC platform found in this research holds a brand or IP asset record. Being the GRC platform that does is a cleaner claim than being an IP platform that does compliance.

Open source licence compliance is IP compliance software, and it has been for twenty years. Revenera's platform is literally reviewed under that headline. Every entry here does inbound copyright compliance for exactly one asset type, code.

Heritage is post publication monitoring rather than pre publication review. | Enterprise. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Channel monitoring and remediation. |
Regulatory brand complianceThe exact phrase, used as a product category. It treats brand compliance as a regulatory obligation with examiners at the end of it, which is the framing you are moving toward. Its term curated rulebooks is a better name for your 55 controls than framework is. | Rulebooks, findings, remediation tracked to closure, audit ready evidence. Your control and evidence loop applied to communications. | Communications, not assets. Never asks who owns the mark, whether it is registered in the market being advertised into, or what it is worth. | Site: regulatory brand compliance, in those words. Curated rulebooks scanning web, social, paid media, email, SMS, calls and documents. Discovers unknown risk across channels and partners, scores it, issues templated remediation requests, tracks corrections to closure and documents every step for audits and exams. Case studies: Engine with over 400 direct partners, Acima across five channels. |
| 100 | Red Oak ComplianceChecked | Broker dealers and registered investment advisers under SEC and FINRA rules. | Advertising and marketing review with audit trails, document stamping and customer data ownership. Automates direct filing with FINRA and the retrieval and storage of comment letters, saving up to thirty minutes per filing. Describes itself as 100% books and records compliant. | Subscription, no hidden fees claimed. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Review, filing and records. |
Books and records compliantAnchored to a named legal obligation, which is what your framework still needs. Its filing automation shows what happens when a compliance product plugs directly into the regulator. | Audit trail and evidence retention against a named rule. | Financial promotions only. US only. | Site: 100% books and records compliant. Audit trails, document stamping and customer data ownership. Automated FINRA filing saving up to thirty minutes per filing. Live in four to eight weeks. Support tickets resolved in under an hour. Built by compliance professionals for compliance professionals. |
| 101 | SedricChecked | Banks, sponsor banks and fintechs wanting pre publication review and live call guidance rather than retrospective monitoring. | A compliance dedicated large language model producing cited reasoning and reviewer grade explanations. Every flag links to a specific regulatory clause the reviewer can open in one click. Produces an examiner grade sealed export in under an hour. | Enterprise. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Clause linked findings and exports. |
Every flag cites a clauseThe single best idea in this register to copy. Sedric's own test for a credible compliance product is that each finding links to the specific clause behind it. That is precisely what your control to evidence mapping should feel like, and it is why the IDF anchor matters. | Control, evidence, citation, export. The architecture you already have, with the citation layer done properly. | Communications only, financial services only. No asset record. | Site: a compliance-dedicated large language model with cited reasoning, where every flag links to a specific regulatory clause the reviewer can open in one click. Examiner-grade sealed export in under an hour. Press: named to the AIFinTech100 2026. WebBank selected it for marketing review across its partner ecosystem. |
| 102 | SaifrChecked | Financial services marketing and compliance teams. | Operates in the compliance dedicated language model mode alongside Sedric rather than pattern matching, according to comparison content in the category. | Enterprise. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB AI review. |
AI compliance reviewNamed as one of two vendors using reasoning rather than lexicon matching. Worth a proper look if you build AI review into your controls. | AI assessment against a rule set. | Communications only. | Third party: named alongside Sedric as one of the two vendors using compliance-dedicated language models rather than lexicon matching. |
| 103 | Red MarkerChecked | Australian regulated marketing and compliance teams. | Marketing compliance technology. Referenced in this research only through comparison content, so treat the detail as unconfirmed. | Unconfirmed. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Australian regtech. |
Local regtechThe Australian entry in this category, in your market, using compliance language about brand and marketing. Meet them before you launch the compliance framing in Australia. | Australian compliance buyer, brand and marketing subject matter. | Communications. Verify the product before citing it. | Third party: named as a PerformLine alternative in 2026 category comparisons. Australian. |
| 104 | HummingbirdChecked | Financial crime and compliance teams. | Compliance investigation and case management, referenced as an alternative in the marketing compliance category. | Enterprise. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Case management. |
Compliance operationsAdjacent. Included so the category list is complete. | Case and evidence handling. | Financial crime, not brand. | No self-claim captured in this research. |
| 105 | PageProof and ZiflowChecked | Marketing and creative teams needing structured review. | Creative collaboration and proofing. Category commentary is explicit that neither is tailored to regulated industry compliance workflows. | Per seat subscription. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Proofing only. |
Not complianceUseful counter example. Proofing looks like compliance and is not, which is the same confusion you will have to clear up between your register and a DAM. | Approval workflow only. | No rules, no evidence, no obligation. | Third party: category commentary is explicit that neither PageProof nor Ziflow is tailored to regulated industry compliance workflows. |
| 115 | AdherentChecked | Product compliance teams at global manufacturers and retailers. Site navigation is organised by role, including Chief Compliance Officer, General Counsel and business unit leaders. Named customers include Burberry, Stanley Black & Decker, VF Corporation and Geotab. | C2P has four modules that are the whole object model in four words: Regulations Management, Standards Management, Requirements Management, Evidence Management. Regulations disaggregate into Requirements, Requirements carry owners and deadlines, Evidence links back to the Requirement, and every action and decision is logged. On top sit four agentic capabilities: monitor change, assess applicability, identify requirements, prioritise business risk. Agents draw only on a proprietary dataset verified by human experts for nearly 25 years rather than the open web, with a patent-pending verification layer. Coverage is 195 to 198 countries, 40 plus topics and 20 plus industries, against a library of 70,000 regulations and 110,000 proposed and enacted instruments. | Enterprise for C2P. The newer Corporate Sustainability product has a free trial. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Obligations, requirements, evidence. |
Turn regulatory change into compliance actionThe architectural blueprint for what you are building, and now also a lesson in positioning. It renamed from the descriptive Compliance & Risks to the coined Adherent, sells by role rather than by service, publishes a dedicated AI LLM data page for machine readers, and argues in its own blog that just asking an LLM falls short for regulatory coverage. Its headline numbers are the kind your framework content lacks: a typical product faces 217 regulatory changes a month, and what takes a team four to six months to assess manually it does in about ten minutes. | Highest structural overlap in the register. Its Requirement is your control. Its Evidence Management is your evidence list. Its Standards Management is the mapping layer you need to ISO 56005 and the IDF. A customer line worth stealing the shape of: a team of seven fortified by regulatory experts equivalent to a team of over 120. | Product regulations only. No intangible assets, no brand, no ownership, no valuation. Enterprise priced and enterprise staffed. | Site: turn regulatory change into compliance action. The category you correctly separated out. These platforms validate individual artefacts against regulations, with real audit trails and named legal modules. They are the strongest evidence that regulated brand compliance is a real software market, and none of them holds an asset register. Artwork Flow appears in Part F and is not repeated here.

| 106 | KallikChecked | Life sciences, medical devices and other heavily regulated manufacturers. The buyer is a compliance officer, not a designer. | End to end labelling and artwork management with asset and phrase management and a full audit log. Built around changing regulations, multilingual content and integration with enterprise systems, with stated aims of accuracy, accountability and transparency. Frequently paired with Loftware for actual printing. | Enterprise. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Regulated content with an audit log. |
Compliance first, by designThe clearest example of a brand-adjacent product that beat a design-first rival by selling to the compliance officer instead of the marketing team. Category commentary says exactly that about Kallik against Esko. That is your positioning decision in miniature. | Phrase and asset level control with a full audit log, against changing regulation across jurisdictions. | Labels and packaging copy. No ownership, no registrations, no licences, no value. | Site: purpose-built for regulated labelling rather than adapted from prepress tooling. Asset and phrase management with a full audit log. States aims of accuracy, accountability and transparency. |
| 107 | Esko WebCenterChecked | Packaging, brand and design teams. Described in comparisons as design first, appealing more to marketing than to compliance officers. | Structured artwork approval and centralised collaboration with version control and audit ready workflows, plus AI compliance checks on packaging copy and symbols. Strong in 3D visualisation, pre-press automation and Adobe integration. No production label printing, so factories add middleware such as Loftware. | Enterprise. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Artwork approval. |
Artwork governanceThe design-first incumbent that a compliance-first challenger is taking share from. Read the Kallik comparison content: it is a template for how you would argue against a DAM. | Approval choreography and version history. | Artwork files. Not regulatory by origin, so it needs configuration to prove label changes end to end. | Site: structured artwork approval with version control and audit-ready workflows, plus AI compliance checks on packaging copy and symbols. | 108 | LoftwareChecked | Global manufacturers running labelling across the supply chain. | Centralised label management integrating with ERP, WMS, MES and PLM systems including SAP and Oracle, supporting compliance with industry, regional and customer regulations. Ships FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU MDR and GHS modules with the audit trails to defend them. | Enterprise. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Named regulatory modules with audit trails. |
Compliance modules out of the boxShipping a named regulation as a module, with the audit trail to defend it, is the product shape your IDF support should take. Not a feature. A module with a name on it. | Regulation as a shippable module with evidence attached. | Print and labels. Nothing about ownership or value. | Site: ships FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU MDR and GHS as modules with the audit trails to support them. Integrates ERP, WMS, MES and PLM including SAP and Oracle. |

The most useful part of this register, and the one to read as a design document rather than a threat list. Every vendor here does the same thing: take a body of external rules, break it into requirements, assign the requirements to owners, link evidence back to each requirement, and keep an audit trail. Adherent names the four objects outright, and it now sits in Part M because its subject is claims about products rather than product rules alone: Regulations, Standards, Requirements, Evidence. One observation matters more than any single row. Every one of these products depends on an external body of law that somebody else wrote. There is no published body of brand and IP governance obligations for a vendor to consume, which is why you had to write 55 controls yourself. That is your moat, because nobody else has done the curation, and your weakness, because no regulator is forcing the purchase. Anchoring to the IDF is how you borrow the forcing function.

| 117 | RegologyChecked | Compliance, legal and operations teams across regulated industries. | Aggregates updates from global regulators and translates them into actionable requirements aligned to business processes and controls. Platform built around obligation interpretation and operationalisation rather than a document feed. | Enterprise. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Requirements aligned to controls. |
Operationalise the obligationThe clearest statement of the step that matters: translating a regulation into a requirement aligned to a control. That translation is exactly what your 55 controls already did for brand and IP, by hand, because no regulator publishes them. | Regulation to requirement to control, as an explicit product promise. | Regulatory text as the input. There is no body of brand and IP law for it to consume, which is why nobody has pointed it at your problem. | Site: aggregates updates from global regulators and translates them into actionable requirements aligned to business processes and controls. AI agents for change, compliance and research. |
| 118 | AscentAIChecked | Risk, compliance and legal teams, originally in financial services. | Builds what it calls a bulletproof obligations inventory first, a register of enterprise obligations, then examines every new rule against that register so only relevant change surfaces. AI extracts obligations from regulatory text, assesses applicability and impact, produces side-by-side change comparisons, maintains dynamic rulebooks, provides audit-ready traceability with full evidence trails, and propagates changes into the customer's GRC platform. | Not public. Category commentary expects low six figures a year, scaling with jurisdiction and obligation volume. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Obligations register first. |
Start with the register, not the changeThe most important idea in this part. Ascent's whole argument is that you cannot manage change without an accurate register first, so it builds the inventory before it does anything else. That is your pitch against every one-off valuation and diagnostic in Parts H and I, in a sentence a bank already understands. | Register first, change second. Obligations with owners, evidence trails and audit readiness. | Financial regulation. No asset class, no brand, no ownership. | Site: builds what it calls a bulletproof obligations inventory first, then examines every new rule against that register. AI extracts obligations from regulatory text, assesses applicability and impact, produces side-by-side change comparisons, maintains dynamic rulebooks and provides audit-ready traceability with full evidence trails. | 119 | CUBEChecked | Regulated firms, principally financial services, at enterprise and mid-market scale. | Regulatory change management with automated horizon scanning across jurisdictions, now carrying the former Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence product. | Not public. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Horizon scanning at scale. |
Automated horizon scanningConsolidator in a roll-up market. Note the pattern across this part: private equity is buying regulatory content, which tells you the content layer is the durable asset, not the workflow. | Change monitoring feeding an obligation register. | Financial regulation. | Site: automated horizon scanning across jurisdictions. Press: Hg-backed, and acquired Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence. |
| 120 | CorlyticsChecked | Financial institutions and other regulated sectors. | AI categorisation of regulatory documents against a comprehensive taxonomy to surface themes and risks, with horizon scanning, summarisation, mapping tools to identify similar obligations, and APIs into existing risk and GRC systems. | Not public. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Taxonomy driven categorisation. |
Regulatory risk intelligenceThe taxonomy is the product. A comprehensive taxonomy against which everything is classified is precisely what your ten domains and 55 controls are, and it is the thing a buyer cannot easily rebuild. | A proprietary taxonomy as the moat. | Financial regulation. | Site: AI categorisation of regulatory documents against a comprehensive taxonomy, with horizon scanning, summarisation, mapping tools for similar obligations and APIs into existing risk and GRC systems. Press: Verdane took a majority stake in April 2024 as the cornerstone of its €1.1bn Edda III Fund. |

Coverage, not workflowUseful distinction. Some buyers want the feed and build the workflow themselves. Nobody can build your feed, because there is no public feed of brand and IP obligations to consume. | The content layer, unbundled. | Data only. | Site: regulatory alert and data coverage. Third party: recommended as the agency-page monitor layer alongside a GRC platform and a horizon scanning feed. |
| 124 | FiscalNote and PolicyNoteChecked | Government affairs, policy and regulatory teams. | Policy and regulatory monitoring and analysis across jurisdictions. | Public company, ARR disclosed in filings. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Policy monitoring. |
Policy intelligenceThe only vendor in this part with published financials, which makes it the reference point for what the category is worth. | Horizon scanning on policy rather than obligation. | Policy, not compliance execution. | Site: policy and regulatory monitoring and analysis across jurisdictions. Public company with ARR disclosed in filings. |
| 125 | SAI360Checked | Enterprise compliance and risk functions. | GRC platform with regulatory tracking, impact assessment on organisational risk, and policy management. | Not public. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB GRC with a content layer. |
Policy and regulatory trackingShows the other way this market is assembled: a GRC platform that adds regulatory content, rather than a content business that adds workflow. Zavior is the first pattern. | Policy plus obligation tracking inside a GRC platform, which is architecturally what you are. | No intangible asset class. | Site: GRC with regulatory tracking, impact assessment on organisational risk, and policy management. |
| 126 | NAVEXChecked | Enterprise compliance, ethics and policy teams. | Compliance programme management with policy, disclosure and risk modules. | Not public. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Programme management. |

Yours is education, financial services and NFPs in two jurisdictions. | Vertical compliance packaging. | US financial institutions. | Site: compliance, vendor and risk management for regulated financial institutions. |
| 128 | Diligent OneChecked | Boards, audit and compliance functions. | GRC platform recommended in category analysis as one of the three enterprise platforms to shortlist, alongside MetricStream and LogicGate. | Entry tier published, enterprise pricing opaque. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Board level GRC. |
Governance for the boardReaches the board, which is where an intangible asset conversation actually belongs. Worth understanding as a partner or an integration rather than a rival. | Board reporting on governance obligations. | No intangible asset class. | Site: board-level governance, risk and compliance. Third party: named as one of three enterprise platforms to shortlist alongside MetricStream and LogicGate. |

A determined customer could model your framework inside it, and never will, because someone has to write the 55 controls first. | Could hold your object model. | Ships empty of intangible asset content. | Site: configurable GRC risk cloud. Third party: named alongside MetricStream and Diligent as an enterprise platform to shortlist. |
| 130 | Kodex AI and AppianChecked | Compliance teams building or buying at the margins of the category. | Kodex AI continuously monitors global regulatory change, summarises updates and aligns them to compliance requirements. Appian is a low-code automation platform commonly pressed into service as a regulatory horizon scanner through workflow automation and data integration. | Kodex AI subscription. Appian per user and per workflow. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Scanning and low-code. |
Assemble it yourselfIncluded to complete the picture of how buyers solve this without a specialist product. Note that a low-code platform gets used as a horizon scanner, which is the generic version of the Agiloft and LogicGate risk. | Low. | No content layer, no asset model. | Site: Kodex AI continuously monitors global regulatory change, summarises updates and aligns them to compliance requirements. Appian markets low-code automation, and is commonly configured by customers into a regulatory horizon scanner. |
Libryo, which applies law to a specific site or entity as regulatory streams and is the closest conceptual match to a per-client framework. The former Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence product as it now sits inside CUBE. Wolters Kluwer OneSumX and LexisNexis Regulatory Compliance. On the product and supply chain side, Intertek, UL Solutions, Sphera, Source Intelligence and 3E. On the life sciences side, Veeva Vault RIM, Freyr and ArisGlobal, which are regulatory information management rather than change management and may be a better structural analogue than any of them.
Two different products sit under one label here, and neither is yours. The larger half inspects premises: it verifies that a location looks and operates the way the brand requires, on the day someone visits, and its evidence is a photograph. Bindy says it plainly, inspect your sites and verify brand standards. Zavior evidences the asset, not the site. Its evidence is a certificate, a licence and an authorised asset list. Bindy answers whether the store is on-brand today. Zavior answers whether you own the sign above the door. The smaller half, the franchisor-side platforms at the end of this part, is the half that matters to you, because a franchise agreement is a trade mark licence and those platforms hold the agreement without ever modelling the mark. SafetyCulture and iAuditor appear throughout this category's comparison content and are recorded in Part Q as ruled out, since their subject is worker safety and site inspection.

Bindy verifies that a location looks and operates the way the brand requires, on the day someone visits. Its evidence is a photograph of a shelf. | Standards, evidence, corrective action, closed loop. Same governance grammar, and a usage-based price with a published number, which is your model too. Worth reading their pricing page. | Physical inspection of premises. It assumes the brand exists and is owned, and never asks either question. No registrations, no licences, no asset record, no value. | Site: inspect your sites, verify brand standards, and send tasks. | 132 | Crunchtime Ops ExecutionChecked | Multi-unit restaurants, convenience stores and grocery chains. | Store execution management with daily tasks, opening and closing routines, line checks, audits and food safety workflows. Distributes protocols instantly across locations, captures photo evidence through a mobile app, integrates Bluetooth IoT temperature devices, and gives leadership multi-location visibility. Every completed inspection generates an automatic audit score reported to head office. | Third party sources report from around $40 a month. Pricing is not published and is widely criticised as opaque. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Daily execution and food safety. |
Enforce brand standards across locationsUses the words enforce brand standards, and means operational protocols. Competitor analysis notes it has no training system, no knowledge base and no location launch management, so franchise operators run other systems alongside it. | Distributed standards with evidence capture and scoring. | Restaurant assumptions that do not fit non-food networks. Nothing about assets. | Site: enforce brand standards across locations through daily tasks, opening and closing routines, line checks, audits and food safety workflows, with photo evidence, Bluetooth IoT temperature devices and automatic audit scoring to head office. Third party: pricing not published and widely criticised as opaque. No training system, knowledge base or location launch management. |
| 133 | GoAuditsChecked | Small operators digitising paper inspections. | Inspection capture with corrective actions and reporting. Category comparisons note it has no franchise hierarchy, no training, no knowledge base and no task management, so findings stay in a silo, and that per user pricing climbs quickly across a growing network. | Per user subscription. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Inspection capture. |
Digitise the checklistIncluded because its weakness is instructive. Findings without a workflow around them stay in a silo, which is the same failure a register has if nobody owns the records. | Evidence capture at SME price. | Inspections only, and priced per user, which breaks at network scale. | Site: digitise the checklist with corrective actions and reporting, per-user pricing for smaller teams. |
| 134 | YOOBICChecked | Frontline retail teams across large European and global networks. | Frontline employee platform combining task execution, audits, training and communication. Automated compliance triggersThe automation end of inspection. Its argument that manual audits cannot keep pace is the argument for automated evidence in your register too. | Automated triggers on a control failing, rather than a person noticing. | Physical equipment and premises. | Site: AI analytics with automated equipment-level data collection. Third party: credited with the most advanced automated corrective-action triggers in the category. |
| 138 | JoltChecked | Individual restaurants and small groups. | Food safety logging and staff scheduling at store level, with no franchise hierarchy, network reporting or location launch capability. | Per site subscription. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Single site logs. |
Store level complianceThe bottom of the category. Included for completeness. | None material. | Single site. | Site: food safety logging and staff scheduling at store level. |

Operations, not paperworkIts own line is worth noting: if your problems show up as missed standards on the floor, do not buy a tool that only manages franchisor paperwork. The inverse is your argument. | Content strategy and the operations plus compliance framing. | Floor level operations. | Site: digital operations platform covering structured daily work, food safety execution, training and audits. Its own content argues that if problems show up as missed standards on the floor, do not buy a tool that only manages franchisor paperwork. |

Named regulation, narrow scopeAnchored to a named standard, which is why it sells. Same lesson as Loftware in Part N. | Compliance anchored to a named obligation. | Food safety only. | Site: food safety logs, temperature records and audit readiness where HACCP drives the purchase. |
| 142 | FranConnectChecked | Franchisors and multi-location businesses of any size, across all industries. Category commentary positions it as the leader for systems above 500 units. | Manages the entire franchise lifecycle: franchisee onboarding with workflow-based project plans, training, CRM, sales, field operations, financial data, communications, marketing and performance tracking. Provides a unified information system for centralised management of compliance and historical records, generating automatic alerts for legal violation notifications, insurance expirations, renewal dates and payments. | Enterprise. Not published. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Network compliance and obligation alerts. |
Compliance and historical records, centralisedThe phrase that matters is buried in its feature list: automatic alerts for legal violation notifications, insurance expirations and renewal dates across a network. That is an obligation register for franchisees, built by a franchise vendor, and it is the closest thing in this part to what you do. | Obligations tracked per counterparty with automatic alerts, and a compliance record kept centrally for a network of authorised users. Your licence tracker with a different label. | Franchise operations. It never models the trade mark the franchise agreement licenses, its registration, its territory or its value. | Site: manages the entire franchise lifecycle with a unified information system for centralised management of compliance and historical records, generating automatic alerts for legal violation notifications, insurance expirations, renewal dates and payments. 4.3 from 209 reviews on Software Advice. Press: AI agents announced January 2025 to automate key tasks for franchises and multi-location businesses. Serent Capital-owned, five acquisitions, founded 2000. |
| 143 | FranchiseSoftChecked | Franchisors running onboarding, training, CRM, audits and royalty collection. | Franchisor-side management across onboarding, training, CRM, audits and royalty workflows. Comparison content notes many operators find it insufficiently operational for floor level needs. | From $149 a month, published, with no long-term contract. Aimed at emerging franchisors under 100 units. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Agreements and royalties. |
Franchisor paperworkIt holds royalty workflows and franchise agreements, which means it holds trade mark licences without calling them that. The nearest thing in this part to your licence tracker. | Royalty and agreement administration across licensees. | Never models the underlying mark, its registration, its territory or its value. | Site: franchisor-side onboarding, training, CRM, audits and royalty workflows, from $149 a month with no long-term contract, aimed at emerging franchisors under 100 units. |
| 144 | DelightreeChecked | Franchise networks across verticals, food service included. | Connects audits, training, knowledge management, location launches and operations in one platform with an explicit franchise hierarchy. Argues that a multi-unit brand needs a franchise layer that inspection tools do not provide, and that the loop should close from a failing audit to the training or task that fixes it. | Per location, with unlimited users. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Franchise layer with a closed loop. |
The franchise layerTwo things to take. Per location pricing with unlimited users is the right model for anything fed by many departments, which is your register. And closing the loop from a failing audit to the fix is what your evidence lists should do. | Hierarchy, closed loop from finding to remediation, per location pricing. | Operations and training. No intangible asset model. | Site: a franchise layer that inspection tools do not provide, connecting audits, training, knowledge management and location launches with an explicit franchise hierarchy, priced per location with unlimited users. Argues the loop should close from a failing audit to the training or task that fixes it. |
| 145 | Naranga (now Woven) and ClientTetherChecked | Franchisors managing operations, recruitment and franchise development. ClientTether skews to franchise sales rather than operations. | Naranga automates franchise operations and enforces consistency across locations. ClientTether is a franchise-tuned CRM and sales automation platform built for rapid lead response, with automated voice, text and email sequences, multi-location dashboards, proposal generation with e-signatures, payment processing and a field mobile app. | ClientTether on request. Naranga listed from a nominal figure on directories, which is a placeholder rather than a price. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Franchise operations and recruitment. |
Consistency across locationsRecruitment and operations rather than rights. Included to complete the franchisor-side picture, and because ClientTether was designed by franchisors, which is the same practitioner-built origin as Artonomo and your own framework. | Multi-location consistency and a record per franchisee. | Sales and operations. No asset dimension at all. | Site: Naranga, now Woven, automates franchise operations and enforces consistency across locations. ClientTether markets 30-second lead response through automated voice, text and email, multi-location dashboards, proposal generation with e-signatures and payment processing, and says it was designed by franchisors. 4.8 from 44 reviews against Naranga’s 4.6 from 16. |
| 169 | FranDocConnectChecked | Any franchisor with disclosure obligations, and category commentary calls it essential for brands operating in ten or more states. | Franchise Disclosure Document management, document control, state registration tracking and compliance workflows. Purpose-built for the legal and compliance side of franchising rather than operations or recruitment. | From $250 a month. | REGUNRCONCOMVALPUB Disclosure obligations and registrations. |
The compliance half of franchisingThe single closest analogue in this part to what you are building, and it was missed in the first pass. A franchisor's disclosure document sits directly on top of a trade mark licence, and this vendor tracks the registrations, the documents and the compliance workflow around it, per jurisdiction, at SME price. | Registration tracking per jurisdiction, document control and a compliance workflow, sold to an owner rather than a lawyer, at a price your buyer would pay. If you extend into franchising, this is the product to study and possibly the partner to call. | Franchise disclosure only. It tracks the state registration of the franchise offering, not the registration of the mark underneath it, and it holds no asset register, no commercial estate and no valuation. | Site: Franchise Disclosure Document management, document control, state registration tracking and compliance workflows, from $250 a month with custom pricing for large systems. Third party: described as essential for brands operating in ten or more states. |
What a search for brand, IP or compliance software drags in that does not belong. Recorded because a substantiation file is only credible if it shows what was excluded and why, and because two of these are jobs rather than competitors. These entries are deliberately kept out of Schedule 3: they have no meaningful coverage to plot and would only dilute the matrix.
| # | Name | What it is | Why it surfaced | Why it is not relevant |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 141 | Opterus, Rights Logic and Specright | Retail task and communication management, publishing rights and permissions management, and specification data management for products and packaging. | Each was named once in category comparison content, for multi-site execution, rights management and labelling respectively. | No vendor material was read for any of the three after repeated attempts, and each sits at the periphery of a part that is already well covered. Retired here rather than left carrying a badge. Specright is the one worth revisiting if you ever model product specifications, since specification management is closer to a register than the rest of the labelling part. |
| 15 | Wolters Kluwer | Dutch legal, tax and compliance publisher and software group. | Named as a prominent player in a 2026 IP management software market report. | No identifiable IP register or brand asset product was found on examination. Its relevant compliance products, OneSumX and Enablon, are financial regulatory change and EHS respectively, and are recorded in Part O and Part Q. Treat the market report listing as noise. |
| 16 | Minesoft | UK patent search, monitoring and analytics. | Named alongside Clarivate and Questel in IP management software market reports. | Patent search and monitoring only. No trade marks, no brand dimension, no register a business owner maintains. |
| 17 | Cardinal Intellectual Property, Thales Group, TM Cloud, Computer Packages, PatSeer and Gridlogics | A mix of patent search services, patent docketing systems, patent analytics vendors and, in the case of Thales, a defence and aerospace group. | All six appear in the same 2026 IP management software market report as leading players. | Thales in a list of IP management software vendors is the tell: the report is a keyword aggregation, not a considered market map. The rest are patent search or patent docketing tools with no brand or commercial asset dimension. TM Cloud and Computer Packages are worth a look if you ever build trade mark docketing, and neither was examined here. |
| 116 | Enhesa | Environment, health and safety plus product stewardship regulatory intelligence. 160 plus in-house regulatory and chemical experts across 40 plus countries, delivered in 60 plus languages. | It is the nearest peer to Adherent in obligation management, and its architecture is the same: obligations, applicability, evidence. | The subject is EHS and chemicals. PFAS, batteries, GHS, RoHS, EPR and packaging. Nothing to do with intangible assets, and the buyer is a product stewardship or EHS function you will never sell to. Its one transferable line stays useful: compliance requires more than data, it requires trusted judgment. |
| 146 | SafetyCulture | Australian workplace and site auditing platform, originally iAuditor. | Appeared in a general compliance software directory listing, and looked configurable into a brand standards audit tool. | The subject is worker safety and site inspection, largely construction and field operations. No asset, brand or IP model, and configuring one is theoretical rather than a market position. Recorded here because an earlier draft of this register wrongly listed it as a franchise standards competitor. |
| 147 | Hummingbird | Financial crime investigation and case management. | Named as a PerformLine alternative in marketing compliance comparison content. | The subject is anti money laundering and fraud casework. No brand or marketing dimension. Category adjacency only. |
| 148 | HSI Donesafe and KPA EHS | Environment, health and safety compliance platforms. | Both rank highly in Capterra's general compliance software listings, which is where a search for compliance software lands. | EHS compliance, nothing to do with intangible assets. Useful only as a reminder that the word compliance on its own is far too broad to position on. |
| 149 | Optro | Operational risk and threat identification for enterprise risk teams. | Appeared in Gartner Peer Insights listings for GRC tools. | Enterprise and operational risk. No intangible asset class. |
| 150 | StandardFusion | GRC for security and compliance frameworks. | Appeared in Capterra GRC and compliance listings. | Security and privacy frameworks only. Could sit in Part K as GRC context, but adds nothing the five entries there do not already demonstrate. |
| 151 | Zaviant | US GRC and data privacy consultancy, an official RiskOptics partner delivering ZenGRC. | Searching Zavior plus GRC returns Zaviant near the top of the results. | Not a competitor. It is a name collision, and it is polluting your search results and the answers AI assistants give about you. Treat it as a brand hygiene task with an owner and a date, not as a rival. |
| 152 | Zavvy | An unrelated software brand. | Surfaced from your own website. Legacy homepage copy still refers to Zavvy AI as the product name. | Not a competitor. A live inconsistency on zavior.ai that should be cleared with the rest of the legacy pages. |
| 153 | G2, Capterra, GetApp, Software Advice, SaaSHub, AlternativeTo | Software directories and review platforms. | They dominate almost every commercial search in every category examined here. | Not competitors. They are distribution, and their prominence is the whole argument for getting listed. Zania holds a full Capterra profile with zero reviews and still appears in results. |
| 154 | LM-X License Manager, Libraries.io, WhiteSource, Renovate, HarborGuard, Vulert, Ninka, spdx-tool | Dependency and licensing developer utilities. WhiteSource is discontinued and became Mend.io. | Returned by the open source licence compliance searches behind Part L. | Developer utilities and package managers rather than compliance programmes. No policy, no evidence, no audit position. |
| 155 | Trademarkia and Marcaria | Online trade mark filing and monitoring services for SMEs. | Adjacent to the trade mark register question, and they buy the same search terms you want. | Transactional filing services. No register anyone maintains, no controls, no governance. Worth watching as competitors for attention and search placement, not for the product. |
| 156 | Interbrand, Kantar BrandZ, MASB | Brand valuation methodologies and models. | Named repeatedly across the brand valuation research. | Not software. They appear in the companion framework register instead, where they belong. |
| 157 | PatentPC, IntuitionLabs, Legaltech Hub, Sirion library, Papirfly blog, Gitnux, WifiTalents, Coherent Market Insights | Publishers of the comparison and roundup pages that rank in these categories. | Their content is how most of this register was found, and how your buyers will find your category. | Not competitors. They are placement targets. Several are vendors publishing comparisons about their own market, which is the tactic recommended for your own comparison pages. |
One genuine gap rather than a non-relevance. Software asset management, meaning Flexera, Snow, ServiceNow SAM and Certero, exists to keep an organisation compliant with the licence terms of the software it uses. That is inbound licence compliance at organisation level, which is your third party rights tracker for one asset class, and none of it was examined here. It belongs in Part L once somebody checks it. Do not publish a claim about inbound rights until that is done.
Reframing from management to compliance is right, and these five parts are the evidence. Brand compliance and IP compliance are both established software markets with real buyers, named legal anchors and audit trails. Neither of them means what you mean.
IP compliance means open source licence scanning. Revenera is reviewed under that exact heading and Black Duck's 2026 OSSRA report found licence conflicts in 68% of audited codebases. So qualify the phrase every time. Brand and IP compliance, or IP asset compliance. Say IP compliance alone to a developer or a private equity analyst and they will hear Black Duck.
Brand compliance means advertising review. PerformLine sells regulatory brand compliance as curated rulebooks, findings, partner remediation and audit-ready evidence for examiners. Labelling platforms do the same for artefacts, and Kallik beat a design-first rival by selling to the compliance officer instead of the marketing team. That is your positioning decision in miniature, already tested in an adjacent market.
Three things to take from this part of the register. Sedric's rule that every flag links to a clause the reviewer can open in one click is what your control to evidence mapping should feel like. Loftware ships named regulations as modules with the audit trail to defend them, which is the shape your IDF support should take: a module with a name on it, not a feature. And Adherent, formerly Compliance and Risks, is the architecture at scale: Regulations, Standards, Requirements, Evidence, proving compliance across 195 countries for product rules. Its Requirement is your control. Nobody has pointed that machine at brands and IP, because no regulator has written the rules for it to read.
The one gap you still have to close. Compliance implies an external requirement, and yours is self-imposed until you name one. Every serious entry in these five parts is anchored to something: FINRA and books and records for Red Oak, CFPB for PerformLine, 21 CFR Part 11 and EU MDR for Loftware, the Defend Trade Secrets Act reasonable measures standard for Tangibly in Part C. Your candidates are the IDF, the PDPA for data assets, the Australian Consumer Law and the ASAS code for brand claims, and lender due diligence. Pick one, put it on the framework page, and the question compliance with what stops being awkward.
